Live-stream classes, private gym sessions keep health goals on track

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Jan. 4, 2021) – Imagine Fitness & Yoga will offer three new livestream workshops in 2021 that make it easier to start the year with healthy habits.

“If you’re new to yoga and fitness training, don’t worry. Our friendly staff can help you start your journey and will work with you to make health and wellness a lifestyle,” said Jackie Farah, who co-owns Imagine Fitness & Yoga with her husband, John Farah.

The full-service studio allows clients to easily build a total fitness program by offering a variety of classes in one place, including yoga, tai chi, circuit training, Pilates, cycling and more. Personalized live-stream and in-person instruction is available from beginners to advanced, with small group sizes, state-of-the-art equipment and private gym hours for members.

The one-hour livestream workshops begin in January and continue for four weeks. Advance reservations are required and class size is limited to allow for individual attention. Workshops include:

  • Ashtanga Yoga – Primary Series. This course introduces beginners to a rigorous style of yoga that synchronizes poses and breathing and helps individuals build up their practice. (Tuesdays at 5 p.m., Jan. 19 – Feb. 9).
  • Learn to Practice Meditation. Increase focus and reduce stress with this introductory meditation workshop. (Thursdays at 5 p.m., Jan. 21 – Feb. 11).
  • Yin Yoga. This style of yoga targets deep connective tissues between muscles and fascia throughout the body for increased circulation in the joints and improved flexibility. (Fridays at 5 p.m., Jan. 22 – Feb. 12).

Imagine Fitness & Yoga features talented instructors who are able to offer personal instruction. State-of-the-art Precor® equipment and top-rated Keiser® bikes for cycling are also available at the studio.

“We believe in a triad of focus on strength, flexibility and balance,” said Farah. “We will help you achieve your goals at any fitness level in a non-competitive, friendly environment.”

Farah said the center takes a number of steps to maintain a safe workout environment. Masks are required and all visitors have their temperatures taken before entering the studio. Instruction is limited so clients can appropriately distance and the majority of classes are offered through live stream. Hand sanitizer is readily available and equipment is sanitized following each use. Members can also schedule private gym sessions to keep health goals on track.

“Imagine is not just a gym, it is a community and you will feel the difference immediately,” said Farah. “With personal attention and live streaming of most classes, you will experience the support and guidance you desire in your fitness journey. Our focus is always on you and your needs.”

A variety of pricing options are available, ranging from a pay-as-you-go model to all-inclusive monthly memberships.
