Imagine Fitness and Yoga offers a variety of yoga classes, from beginner to advanced. We specialize in helping those new to Yoga get started. We believe in a triad of focus on strength, flexibility and balance. You will find the unique blend of all three in whichever class you choose.
Yoga classes to get started and improve:
Fundamentals, Beginner’s Yoga & Fitness, Intro Classes
Participants learn the building blocks of yoga in a variety of introductory classes. Beginners and Intermediate level practitioners will establish good form, balance, and flow in their practice. The classes emphasize the fundamentals important to any Yoga practice, focus on basic and gentle standing and seated poses.
Vinyasa – Levels I, II and III
Your breath links to movement everyday. Vinyasa is an energizing practice that links your breath to movement through a series of poses to form a continuous flow that will improve strength, flexibility and balance.
Restorative Yin Yoga
Everyone can benefit from this relaxing and meditative class in gentle poses held for 3-5 minutes. You will experience the healing of fascia and connective tissues, fully supported by blankets and props to encourage total relaxation and engage the parasympathetic nervous system. Your parasympathetic nervous system is key in for your body to “rest and digest.”
Tai Chi
You will learn poses are to activate the muscles and initiate a gentle stretch while a continuous flow is maintained, to improve your mind body connection and balance. A “moving meditation” that started in ancient China as a form of self-defense. today Tai Chi is practiced for its health benefits, soothing to the mind and body.
Fitness Class
Focus on your whole body fitness in any of the focused fitness classes. Small group participants get personal attention in all classes as trainers focus on the development of strength, flexibility and balance. In addition to fitness classes, we offer personal training with instructors directly focused on your personal needs and goals.
Cycling and Cardio
Invigorate your cardiovascular strength and endurance in a cycling or cardio plus classes. Cycling is gentle on the joints yet provides a great workout as you pedal at various resistance levels and cadences.
Pilates
Pilates borrows movements from yoga, dance, and calisthenics and is focused on stretching and strengthening the body, especially the core. Standard pilates uses equipment for the moves, but mat pilates requires no equipment besides a cushioning mat to get a great workout.
